Talbots dress & belt – c/o, Amiclubwear pumps – c/o, Gucci bag, custom-made pearl earrings – similar
When we’ve lived in a place for a long time, we start taking all that it has to offer for granted. It’s so easy to get pulled in the daily hustle that the charm of the place that draws other people to it, might be completely lost on us. Almost a decade ago, when I first moved to Boston, on the drive from the airport to my apartment – I remember – sitting with my face pressed against cab’s window, slowly taking in the city with every breath and falling in love with it instantly. Then as I slowly got busy with life , the city started to fade in the background. This summer, I am eager to reignite that feeling, revisit my favorite places and fall in love all over again.
Few days ago, the mister & I headed to Quincy Market – quite the melting pot of history, food and entertainment. I chose this beautiful dress for our day out – after all, I want to impress the city as well! Moreover, I wanted Amit to see the city through my eyes ( last week he offhandedly mentioned that he doesn’t feel the same connection with the city like I do – how dare he! ) Talbots has always been one of my go-to stores for dresses especially because they have an extensive petite collection and this dress was just perfect for my date with the city! The day turned out to be just as I imagined it – full of laughter, good food, music. ( I dont know if it was the dress, the man I was with or the city vibes – but I twirled right there in the middle of the square! =)) ) xo- Neha
You can shop the summer collection from Talbots here & some of my favorite pieces here, here & here.
A big thank you to Talbots for sponsoring this post.

Thank you 🙂
Quincy market looked beautiful, you looked beautiful! I’ve never been to Boston and husband went to school there so I’m always asking him whether we could take a trip out there.
