“The road goes on forever …And the party never ends”

Last weekend, we headed to the Cape with a few friends – bikes in tow and spirits flying high. I have been dying to bike the Cape Cod Canal trail that I had heard so much about. It did not disappoint. Surprisingly not too crowded, it runs along a beautiful canal leading up to a tiny little lighthouse. As you ride along – tall ships and cute tug boats nonchalantly pass by. With flowers in my basket and in the cutest tote, wind in my hair and amazing company by my side – I could not help but romanticize that moment. Biking can be such a private experience – even though you are riding next to people, you are really just with yourself. Keeping your balance and focusing on the road in front of you. I truly cherish moments like these. 

As if to rejoice our wonderful time, the sky put on a beautiful show on the ride back. If you are a Boston local or from around the area – you have to absolutely visit this trail. If you don’t bike. Run.If you don’t run.Walk. It’s a summer dream.
