New Favorite Fragrances

LovePlayingDressup-FragranceNet-Alien-ThieryMulger-BestFragrances2015-2When I embrace someone in one of my signature bug bear hugs (which aren’t rationed at all & come in abundance), I love it if I can catch the fragrance that the person is wearing. ( not in a creepy way but more in a fond-loving way =)) )

I am very picky when it comes to fragrances – I always say that the one beauty product you need to have on you is a good fragrance. Never mind the concealers or a rid lippie. So you know, I take my fragrances very seriously. A religious user of the Light Blue by Dolce & Gabanna, I have been on the hunt for a few more to add variety to my list. After carefully playing with different scents & grading them – I am happy to share two new fragrances that I can swear by.

  • Alien By Thierry Mugler

As the name suggests, the scent is very intriguing (a trait that every women should possess in some capacity) It almost feels like an explosion of some very exotic floral scents well curated together. I’ve received so many compliments every time I’ve worn it! It is pretty long lasting, makes a bold statement when you enter the room and would be a great addition to your fall/winter beauty routine. Plus, I love that it comes in this edgy bottle – adding to its display quotient.LovePlayingDressup-FragranceNet-Alien-ThieryMulger-BestFragrances2015.1

  • Jasmine Noir by Bvlgari

I am hugely fond of Bvlgari as a brand.  For the longest time, Amit has been wearing Bvlgari Aqua, so I was happy to find a fragrance from the Bvlgari line that spoke to me as well. This one is very feminine and exudes a sense of sophistication. It doesn’t last as long as Light Blue or Alien, but remains strong enough for an evening. I use it for special occasions such as date nights or fancy office events and can’t wait to wear it to the holiday parties.

A fragrance is such a personal thing – what someone may love, you might not be able to get on board with. I’d like to add that as a disclaimer =)) Spraying your fragrance on pulse points, ala neck and wrists is a recommended way to use them.

I’d love to know what are your signature fragrances. xo – Neha

  1. Put some fragrance free moisturizer and then apply the fragrance on that area. It will last longer. Also, try couple of different moisturizers (as each has different chemicals). I prefer light oil best.

    Some of my favorite fragrances:
    1) La tulipe (Great spring summer one)

    1. Thats a great tip! I am def gonna have to try it 🙂
Thanks for stopping by Divya – xo

    2. I would love to hear the results if you tried any of the tips. Fragrance and perfume is an area of interest and research.

  2. I love perfume bottles and save some and this is one I love! They are just too cute to throw away!
