Last few weeks have been so busy! I haven’t been able keep up with my editorial calendar and please don’t even get me started on responding to emails. I try to respond to emails in a 48-hour period, but there’s a lot going on at work and in general, in life, so if I owe you a response I promise I’ll get back to you soon. Insert peace sign =))
I’ve talked about this before that a full-time job in a technical industry and running a blog means working all the time. And on top of that, those are such different things. Polar opposites. Now that my co-workers at work know about the blog, they get to see two different people. Not different personality-wise, but two different facets of my life. One dealing with fires ( as we call them when a server fails or there is an upset client over a technical error – #geekalert! ) and the other one – this one! The blog girl – who loves playing dressup, loves to decorate her house, eats like there is no tomorrow and breaks laws to get the perfect Instagram shot.
Truth be told – these turquoise shoes were worth the shot and were comfortable enough to jump ( read sneak ) around !
Outfit details: JC Penney dress – petite & tall, also in pink, pumps, necklace similar here & here
This dress is such a wonderful variation of the off-shoulder trend – a split sleeve & a cold shoulder! If you have a summer-themed or beach wedding coming up, then this dress would make for a perfect choice. It is a steal ( less than $30! ) and had me at… yellow! I know it will be on repeat this season. Hope you guys are having a great long weekend – enjoy your Monday off =)) xo Neha
