The time has finally come friends for me to share my home office. Well almost time … I can barely contain myself because the room has turned out to be everything I had envisioned it to be. Having a vision for a space is the nice first step and having experts get involved in the design process, that’s just cherry on top.

Many of you asked me about my experience working with Havenly, so I decided to do a post about my experience and the process before I actually raise the curtains on our first project.

I had never worked with a designer before and was very skeptical about how would I convey all that I was envisioning. If a Pinterest board is to say anything about what I wanted – well, my office-space board is all over the place with classic to modern to contemporary to Scandinavian. But all my concerns were abated once we got started working with the designer  ( Ariel, she’s awesome! ) It is actually a very simple process. We had a phone call in which we talked about the the basic things such as what color palette I was leaning towards, the primary furniture pieces I wanted to incorporate to the big things such as, the budget I had in mind. The designer then starts working on putting things together in what is known as concepts. ( virtual renditions of your conversation ) You get you see the design virtually at multiple steps and the changes that you want,  are incorporated in the next virtual design. Here are the  different views of the room, that we worked on together. 

I will be doing the grand reveal – tomorrow – watch this space =)) There is a video as well which I am extremely excited about.
