I am so thrilled to finally share with you the outdoor space of our house. This is where we spent so many glorious moments this summer and are looking forward to continue enjoying it in the upcoming cooler days with the fire going, blankets and cuddles.
When we were looking at this house at the time of buying/house hunting – we were mainly sold on the outdoor space. The pool was definitely the factor that sealed the deal or rather made us not really look much further. But, the mister also wanted a good conversation/lounging area and the space around the pool was just perfect – not too big, not too small!
Having friends over, lounging in the sun and reading, having breakfasts in the morning, bringing our laptops outside and working, making s’mores (!! ), celebrating festivals ( such as Indian festivals of Holi, Diwali ) – there’s just so much we do outside, that this year we decided that it needed a bit of a sprucing.
We worked with Havenly on designing the space ( this is the second time I worked with Havenly – my HomeOffice video is here =)) ) I really love working with them – the process is easy, seamless and takes the stress out of designing and decorating. For the outdoor space, I wanted to pick up on the blue from the pool and have the primary color of the entire decor as blue. I am loving all blue and white lately and have convinced the mister on this combo as well ( because I know there’ll be a lot more blue & white popping around the house! ) I was going back and forth between getting a rug or not because you know, with New England weather – having a rug outside can be so much work. But this Indoor/Outdoor rug from RugsUsa in my current obsession color combination couldn’t be more perfect. Love how it brings the sitting area together.
Both of us wanted an outdoor space where we could relax, read, work and entertain and are so happy with how this turned out. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Dont forget to see the video ( shared at the start of this post ) and here on YouTube.

Neha, you are such a love! I loved watching you, you have such a beautiful personality for videos/tv, very charming! I also love the decor you’ve went with in creating such a fun, yet relaxing outdoor space. The colors are so lovely and vibrant, but the pillows and candles really help to enhance a more cozy vibe as well. Also, you and your hubby are the cutest! Thanks so much for sharing your space with us and I hope you’re having a great week so far!

You are too cute! Love the color scheme. It totally represents you as a person from what I’ve learned about you so far. Also love how your dress matches those chairs – that is such a cool coincidence! Your husband is such a sport for being your guest video star too. I knew I had to watch the video to see your quirky personality shine. You’re such a great storyteller with video!
