If you have been following the blog for some time ( or since the start ), you know that this year, the mister and I rolled up our sleeves and started decorating our house. If you have decorated a home or even bought a single piece of decor item with a spouse or a room-mate – you know how difficult it is to get the two people to agree on the same style, same design, same color and almost every other aspect. Sometimes it takes months for us to pick something that we both love and then there are times, both of us instantly agree on the same thing. And when that happens… lets just say, I do my happy dance.
For our living room decor, both of us wanted a classic and traditional vibe. Something that would be a homage to our culture from back home and also be reflective of our life ( more than a decade! ) here in Boston. I might be giving away too much at the start of the story itself, but here’s a sneak peek of our living room that we decorated in partnership with Raymour and Flanigan.
I know!! you want to see more =)) Stay tuned… and next week there will be lots of pictures and a video bonus as well. ( I am getting a lot of requests for doing more videos and as I said last time, I am so grateful that you all are liking them )
Meanwhile, here are a few other that we loved from the extensive Raymour and Flanigan collection. What style of furniture do you prefer – contemporary, traditional or casual?
