Do you have any family holiday traditions? One of our traditions is going to a local farm that has the most magical holiday market this time of the year. They have Christmas trees, the widest collection of wreathes and decorations I’ve ever seen, a cocoa and cookies bar, carolers – just about everything that looks like a scene out of a holiday movie. As you can imagine, it is also the prettiest setup for family pictures, a lot of cheesy mistletoe moments.  I’ve teamed up with Off Broadway Shoes to share some shoes and a sale so sweet, you are going to want to check it out. They have a variety of fun and on trend boot styles for the whole family.  With the crisp chilly weather, looking chic for the pictures, being comfortable for all the walking around – there is always a good reason to shop for shoes.

There’s no denying, I love boots! No matter the occasion – date night, family outing or office, boots add a certain sophistication to the entire look and not to mention, give the illusion of height to a petite person like me. You can’t go wrong with black boots – and I am not saying this because I’ve partnered with Off Broadway Shoes on this post – but these black boots are seriously the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever worn. They have a cushioned base that I’ve literally never seen in any of my boots before. A few other items that I am loving on the site  – these cozy slippers that would make a nice gift.  They are having a huge sale right now and you can take advantage of BOGO deal* (exclusions apply).

Now that we’ve talked about putting your best and stylish foot forward, I wanted to share a few fun and festive things to do around Boston this time of the year.

// The Nutcracker by Boston Ballet : We’ve been doing this since last few years and I love it every single year. I can’t wait for Zoe to grow up so we can do it together. Everything about this is beyond beautiful – the Boston Opera House, the performances, the outfits.

//Holiday Markets – SoWa Holiday Market, Harvard Square Fair are the two very popular ones.

//Faneuil Hall Tree and Waterfront lights : Just look up the pictures online or on Instagram. Unbelievable!

//Holiday Pops at the Boston Symphony Hall : I’ve never done this but this is one of the most popular events in Boston during the holidays. Definitely on my list.

// Hotels with the best decor : So this is not really an event – but to get a respite from the cold, if you are looking to do something fancy – The Taj Boston and Copley Plaza have the prettiest decor and have the most cozy bars where you grab a glass of wine of even coffee until late in the evening.
